Day 1 CHACHAPOYAS Arrival. Hotel.

Day 2 CHACHAPOYAS/LEVANTO/INCA TRAIL/CHOCTAMAL Transfer at 07h00 to Levanto village to hike along the Inca trail that goes to the Utcubamba valley. Lunch. Transfer to Choctamal. Lodge.

Day 3 CHOCTAMAL/KUELAP/TINGO/COCACHIMBA  Transfer at 07h00 to the Kuelap Fortress (3000m). Then after the visit we will start the hike down to the valley for 3 hours approx. getting the village of Tingo (1850m). After lunch, transfer to Cocachimba village. Lodge.

Day 4 GOCTA/COCACHIMBA/ABRA PATRICIA Begin of hike along the path that takes us to the second fall of Gocta Waterfalls. Return to Cocachimba at noon. Lunch. Departure in the afternoon to the Private Conservation Area of Lechucita Bigotona at Abra Patricia. Lodge.

Day 5  ABRA PATRICIA/MOYOBAMBA Hike at dawn by the Conservation Area for a birdwatching tour. Lunch. Transfet to Moyobamba city. Arrival around 16h00. Hotel.

Day 6 MOYOBAMBA/TINGANA/TARAPOTO Departure at 05h00 the port of Rio Avisado to go by boats to the Conservation Community Area of Tingana where we could appreciate the ecosystem of “Renacal” known as the land of the walking trees. Lunch. In the afternoon transfer to Tarapoto. Hotel.

Day 7 TARAPOTO/CERRO ESCALERA/TARAPOTO (trekking) At 06h00 departure to Río Shilcayo to hike along the trail that climbs to the mountains of Regional Conservation Area Cerro Escalera. During the trail we will watch some butterflies, frogs and other insects and if weather helps us we will finish the hike at Tamishal waterfalls. Then we return by the same trail in the afternoon. Hotel.

Day 8 TARAPOTO Departure.
