Day 1 TARAPOTO Arrival and transfer to hotel.
Day 2 TARAPOTO/CERRO ESCALERA/TARAPOTO (trekking) At 06h00 departure to Río Shilcayo to hike along the trail that climbs to the mountains of Regional Conservation Area Cerro Escalera. During the trail we will watch some butterflies, frogs and other insects and if weather helps us we will finish the hike at Tamishal waterfalls. Then we return by the same trail in the afternoon. Hotel.
Day 3 TARAPOTO/JUANJUI Transfer (2 hrs.) to Juanjui city. Hike in the forest to get the “French cave”, called this name because of a french explorer that dies in its deeps. Lunch. Visit to El Churo gorge. Dinner. Lodge.
Day 4 PARQUE NACIONAL RIO ABISEO/JUANJUI/TARAPOTO Boat trip to El Shiringal (a place where parks guards, working with local people started to introduce medicinal plants in secondary forests), then to Oros, place of virgin nature and finally to the Oso waterfalls (habitat of spectacle bear). Return to the lodge, lunch and transfer Juanjui and Tarapoto. Hotel.
Day 5 TARAPOTO Departure.
